Pocketflow uses Clarify to maintain a personal touch

Problems

As an early-stage startup building embedded marketing solutions, Pocketflows struggled with the limitations of managing their growing sales pipeline through spreadsheets. Co-founder Lucy Wang found herself spending one to two hours daily just managing and reconfiguring spreadsheets to track prospects and deals. After evaluating several modern CRMs including Monday and Attio, Pocketflows chose Clarify for its intuitive interface and rapid setup process.

Clarify provided Pocketflows with a streamlined deal management system that required minimal configuration while offering powerful functionality. The platform's LinkedIn Chrome extension and automated data enrichment capabilities eliminated the need for manual data entry, while its deal tracking interface gave clear visibility into pipeline progress. The system also automated follow-up tracking and provided better organization of multi-channel communications.

Outcomes

The impact of implementing Clarify was immediate and substantial. Wang estimates that the platform saves her at least five hours per week that would have otherwise been spent on CRM management and data entry. This efficiency gain has been particularly valuable for their lean team, allowing them to focus on building relationships rather than managing spreadsheets.

During their time using Clarify, Pocketflows has successfully expanded from three unpaid design partners to five paying customers. The platform's ability to track prospect engagement and maintain consistent follow-up has been crucial to this growth. Perhaps most notably, Clarify has become so seamlessly integrated into their workflow that it no longer feels like an additional tool to manage.

"I don't even think about Clarify as an extra thing that I'm using," says Wang. "It doesn't feel like a tool. It's just like an extension of my brain."

This natural integration into their daily operations has been particularly valuable for their lean team. "I feel like I don't have to configure anything with CRM anymore," she explains. "With the spreadsheet, I was constantly trying to create new reports or constantly trying to reshuffle things around."

For Pocketflows, Clarify has evolved beyond being just a CRM platform – it's become an integral part of their revenue operations, enabling them to scale their customer relationships efficiently while maintaining the personal touch crucial for early-stage startups.
